李景双出生在黑龙江五大连池一个名叫向阳的小村。少年时期的李景双桀骜不驯,乡里出了名的坏小子,与母亲的屡次争吵令李景双下定决心离开山村,寻找更有前途的发展天地。李景双选择从军,然而正是在李景双服役期间,母亲却与世长辞,这也成了李景双心中永远抹不去的遗憾。人到中年,李景双已然成为一名商界精英,然而在新商场的招商期间却遇到了一系列的挫折,其中既有同行之间的倾轧斗争也有来自内部的压力和不理解,与一位绝症老人的偶然相遇却勾起了李景双尘封在心底多年的记忆。放弃了商战中的纷纷扰扰,李景双踏上了回乡的旅程,而他的灵魂也将在旅途中得到救赎。
