法国的一座寄宿学校的学生们在假期之后陆续返回校园。然而，他们所面对的学校却如同监狱一般欢迎他们。这里的生活单调重复，学生们经常遭到老师的斥责和体罚，稍有反抗就会受到操行零分的严厉处分。教师们如同冷血动物一般，让学生行尸走肉般的生活和学习。这种压抑的气氛让活泼好动、想法多多的孩子们终于无法再忍受。他们开始蓄谋一场重大的事件。学校迎来了校庆之日，各种重要领导受邀赶来参观井井有条的教育成果。正在重要嘉宾齐聚操场时，愤怒的学生们将书本、鞋子、罐头等杂物从屋顶抛下，在教学楼顶楼上挂起一面绘有骷髅的旗。他们释放着自己的激情、肆无忌惮地在学校各个场所造反狂欢，让那些重要人物大跌眼镜，虽然惊诧气愤，却又无计可施。愤怒的学生们最终占领了这所严酷的寄宿学校。
