德国联邦情报局的生物武器专家阿恩特·沃尔夫认为，尽管联合国进行严格管控，伊拉克仍在制造炭疽作为武器。周围的人原本早已不再执着于这个话题，但情况突然发生了变化，因为一名伊拉克寻求庇护者声称，他曾参与制造萨达姆·侯赛因的生物武器。他的证言正中各方当局下怀，美国联邦政府、中央情报局都企图借机采取行动。沃尔夫被联邦情报局任命为案件负责人，调查代号为“曲线球”的举报人所言是否为事实。与此同时，911袭击事件让美国处于危机边缘，世界范围内的安全也岌岌可危……本片是一部政治讽刺电影，改编自2003年伊拉克战争前发生的真实事件，于第70届柏林电影节特别展映单元举行全球首映。

2023 喜剧简介：Joe Bell is a penny-pinching hermit saving for the day when his real life will begin. One day he's offered a chest filled with treasure by a cryptic old man known as, "The Clockmaker."
