道恩（克莱尔·福伊 Claire Foy 饰）和大卫（本尼迪克特·康伯巴奇 Benedict Cumberbatch 饰）是一对刚刚结婚的夫妻，沉浸在新婚的幸福中，两人决定回到大卫曾经生活过的村庄，在那里构筑爱巢养育后代。家乡的一切让大卫感到无比的舒心，悠闲散漫的田园生活让夫妻两人觉得他们做了一个正确的决定。
