继母Paz和Simon还有Simon的女儿生活在小镇上，Simon是女儿足球队的教练。一次在踢球的间隙女儿偶然发现有人在举行宗教仪式，她走近并且拿走了一个器物，没过多久女儿失踪了，Simon夫妇四处打探，Simon更是心急如焚，Paz一方面为女儿祈祷，一方面寻求灵媒的帮助，灵媒通过和Simon的触摸，说她看到了一些场景：有个男人被两个人杀了，小女孩在床底下，十字架倒了，红色的窗帘盖在尸体上。Simon听了这些很震惊同时也很害怕，情急之下他和久未联系的母亲取得了联系，请她帮忙打听一下消息。Paz的表哥在警局工作，他也表示虽然FBI已经接手，但他仍想帮忙打听消息，于是两人一起到了人员混杂的红灯区。正在两人与管辖此区域的警官沟通的时候，一个妓女认出了Simon，但是叫他Robert，Simon说她认错了人，于是妓女在纸巾上写了一行字，相约密谈。当晚，Sim...
