姚克一年前从大陆迁居澳门继承遗产，不料在生意场上被人骗走40万巨款，幸亏他的情人、深圳乐美化妆品公司经理李萍挪用公司大笔外汇，帮他还清了债务，李萍却因此受到检察机关指挥犯有经济贪污罪。多年来，李萍与女儿婷婷相依为命，自从姚克出现，李萍把一切都寄托在深爱她的姚克身上，因此不能眼见他陷入困境而不救助。姚克不忍李萍受牵连，冒险买下两本非法护照，准备携李萍出境。特区检察院的肖宇光以国际刑警的身份到澳门取得了李萍娜用公款的证据后回到深圳，在检察院的会议上提出自己对这一事件的看法。他认为李萍在公司危难之际接任经理，并接连研制了几个创优产品，名扬海内，使公司扭亏为盈，自己也成为特区经济改革中的一位女强人，这样的人陷入经济犯罪案令人惋惜。虽然现有的证据已经可以立即逮捕她，但她掌握着几个主要产品的秘密配方，在第二天的新产品鉴定会上只有她才能代表公司出席答辩，如果逮捕她...
